Originally founded in Greene, New York in 1989, Ronnie Bird USA Made Lures has been a trusted name among anglers for decades. Now proudly based in Melrose, Minnesota, our team continues the tradition of hand crafting high-quality, American-made fishing lures with care and precision. Most of our parts are produced right here in Minnesota, and each lure is thoughtfully assembled by our dedicated local crew who share a deep passion for fishing and craftsmanship.

LUKE:
Luke McCoy loves working hard and hanging out with friends, especially when everyone’s gathered in the fish house on a cold winter day. He enjoys being part of the Ronnie Bird Lures crew and takes pride in helping create something people love to use out on the ice. With his easygoing attitude and steady work ethic, Luke helps keep the team running strong.
COLE:
Cole is a quiet guy with a strong work ethic and a love for the outdoors. When he’s not making lures, you’ll likely find him hunting, fishing, playing baseball, or hanging out with friends. His steady focus and dependable nature make him a valued part of the Ronnie Bird Lures crew.
EDDIE:
Eddie is a hardworking high schooler who knows how to juggle it all. As a three-sport athlete in football, basketball, and baseball—and with a passion for both winter and summer fishing—he’s always on the go. When he’s not making lures, you’ll find him working on fixer-upper boats with his buddies or chasing his next big catch. His drive and energy make him a standout on the Ronnie Bird Lures team.
ABE:
Abe’s first love is sports — if it involves a ball to throw or catch, he’s all in. When summer rolls around, you’ll find him out fishing or spending time with friends. Though he’s the quiet one of the bunch, Abe’s steady focus and calm nature make him an important part of the Ronnie Bird Lures team.
JOHN:
If it’s got tracks or wheels, John’s all in! When he’s not out fishing with friends, you can find him caring for his chickens or keeping the beat on his drums. A 6th grader with a big love for the outdoors, John brings his energy and enthusiasm to the Ronnie Bird Lures team every day.
HOWIE:
Howie is happiest with a fishing pole in hand or out helping on his grandpa’s farm. When he’s not in the field, you’ll find him on the baseball diamond or tending to his small herd of goats. With a love for the outdoors and a strong work ethic, Howie brings that same dedication to every lure he helps create at Ronnie Bird Lures.
LORETTA:
Loretta may be the youngest member of the Ronnie Bird Lures crew, but don’t let that fool you—she keeps all the boys in line and pulls her weight, too! She loves volleyball, sunny days at the lake, and tossing out a line when the fish are biting. Whether she’s doing cartwheels in the snow or soaking up the sunshine, Loretta brings plenty of energy and heart to the team.
Thor
Thor loves all things outdoors—whether it’s fishing, hunting, or spending time with friends. He’s always up for a good challenge and enjoys working hard and creating new things. With his creativity and drive, Thor brings fresh ideas and enthusiasm to the Ronnie Bird Lures team.
Celia:
Celia is always on the move — between volleyball, gymnastics, and softball, she’s basically a full-time athlete! When she’s not at practice or a game, she loves putting things together and getting creative. She also loves creating social media posts for the Ronnie Bird Lure team! Full of energy, laughs, and good vibes — there’s never a dull moment with Celia around!
